These are in reverse order of the general date of each work. These top ones were done in 2012 and the bottom photos of the Lion and Giraffe were done in 1979.

Except for trying to draw horses correctly in the 50s, I wasn’t much interested in depicting animals. In 1966 I painted the portrait of a cat for a friend. Then there was the jump to 1979. These were by accident in a way. Perhaps there was something to having a BA degree in Zoology. There are some paintings not shown. Those are: a few pets, A panda, a 2nd Noah’s Ark, and a screenprint of the Blackbird in Summer.
